The Army Mini Tattoo that was staged during the ongoing 50th anniversary celebrations of the D.S Senanayake College at Borella, added colour to the arrangements in the premises on Wednesday (15).
At the request of the College authorities, the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva has directed the Army to contribute to this important milestone of the college by staging two rounds of the mini tattoo which displays unmatched acrobatic and adventure skills, coupled with colourful band display, dog shows, assembling of a military vehicle and bailey bridge and also display of armour tank and artillery guns.
Hon. Speaker Karu Jayasuriya (MP) graced the morning session as the Chief Guest.
Principal, teachers, college children and a large gathering of visitors assembled at the venue to witness the ‘Mini Tattoo’ that showcases Army skills.
